About Lindsay Taylor Dellinger
Lindsay Taylor Dellinger is an award‑winning author, content writer, and editor specializing in mental health, wellness, travel, culture, and personal development. She holds national Certification as a trauma-informed Behavioral Health Specialist (CBHS) and is the creator behind The Road Linds Travels, where she blends soulful travel storytelling with reflections on grief, healing, and growth.
She left a career in fashion art direction in late 2021 to pursue her true passion for writing, publishing her debut memoir Swipe Write, shortly thereafter, and narrating its audiobook version in mid‑2023.
As a mental health advocate and substance abuse/wellness content specialist, Lindsay wakes up every day inspired by the impact of her work. She’s especially proud of her role in launching her blog’s “Celebrating Women” series, which amplifies female voices through deeply honest interviews and storytelling. In addition to earning her stripes as a writer, Lindsay has completed crisis counseling training with Crisis Text Line, empowering her to offer compassionate support during moments of grief, trauma, and emotional upheaval.
When she’s not writing or supporting others, Lindsay can be found sipping coffee or wine, caring for her plants, watching Korean dramas with her life partner, and planning future travel adventures.

Ciao! I’m Lindsay Taylor Dellinger, and I’m glad you’re here. I’d like to begin by telling you a little story: Greg from Miami offered up a bit of advice as the Peru Rail train weaved its way through lush jungle amidst the Andean mountains en route to Machu Picchu. “Life yourself by yourself,” he instructed.
“Life yourself by yourself.”
That’s precisely what I was doing in late December of 2016. I tipped my Cusqueña cerveza in his direction in a cheers-ing manner. Ten minutes later the train swerved quickly around a corner and that beer crashed to the floor, ruining any chances of a desired morning buzz. But, such is life – sometimes we celebrate, intoxicated with delight, and sometimes we crash and burn. But in all of life’s experiences, good and not so pleasant, there is something to learn, a piece we carry with us for eternity, and a piece of ourselves we leave behind.
After the devastating loss of both of my parents, a tumultuous divorce, and a break up amongst many of life’s curveballs, I decided it was time to take control of the reigns again. I was no longer going to be dictated by what I’ve lost but by what I’ve been discovering about the world and myself. Welcome to The Road Linds Travels, a local and global adventure through travel, culture, life, and wellness, as told by an empathetic, passionate feminist.
